Our Story
United Pacific International Ltd. was founded in 1995 by Steven Yap and Winnie Ngew, in the small manufacturing town of Seri Kembangan, Malaysia.
What began as a local operation supplying shoes from small “mom-and-pop” factories to Malaysian retailers expanded across Southeast Asia, reaching markets in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
After more than two decades of growth, we took a bold step into new global markets, including Australia, South America, and Europe.
While each region presented its own unique challenges and cultural differences, the experience was invaluable.
It broadened our perspective and shaped our approach, giving us a truly global mindset.
Today, our focus remains on long-term client satisfaction, always evolving to meet the needs of an ever-changing market while maintaining the values that have been at the heart of our business since day one.
